A Day in the Life of Daddy

Chad's office, the National Air Training Center, observed "Bring your child to work day" yesterday. If you get a job with the Air and Marine Branch you have to go through training at this facility. Chad is a pilot instructor and gives check rides to many of the fixed wing pilots around the country. I have not yet met any of the guys Chad works with and everyone wanted to meet Gavin so we went and learned what Daddy does every day at work. There were a lot of kids there and they had with a doubt the most fun of any kids at their parent's work. They got to fly in a plane simulator, play with night vision goggles, practice shooting in a simulated range and go into the hanger where all of the air crafts are kept. I can't wait for Gavin to be older so he can really enjoy it. This go around he just slept the whole time. But it was great meeting all of the guys that Chad works with and seeing what some of his work entails. He certainly has anything but a boring job. I am so proud of him. He has worked really hard to get to this point in his career. I know Gavin will brag about his daddy to all of his friends when he gets older :)
