Every month I have to retire outfit after outfit. Gavin just keeps growing and growing. And each month he finds something so wonderful and new with the world. Like solid foods! We tried out some rice cereal and we still don't know what he thinks about it. By the look on his face when he gets it in his mouth, I am pretty sure it tastes awful to him. But he sure does love to wear it and make a mess with it.
And since eating solid foods, he has discovered his bottom lip. He sucks on it all the time now. It is so hilarious to watch him make new discoveries. Who knew a bottom lip could be so fascinating??
Not only does he outgrow clothes, he also out grows toys. He used to love being in his gym. Now when I put him in it he gives me this look as if to say "Mom, this is SO last month!" His new favorite love is the Johnny Jump Up. However he is not quite into the jump up part of it. He just likes to swing in it. Chad tries to get him to jump but he is not having it. Whatever you wish, little monster. Its your world, I just live in it. He doesn't like his bath seat anymore either. Its more like a hammock and he wants to sit up. So we improvised and put him in his Bumbo seat. Laying down is for BABIES!
But the biggest news of the month is crawling!! Ok, so it is more like "scooting" but it is progress and I am just so proud of him. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of it yet. He puts his butt in the air and does a face plant so it doesn't make for a very interesting photo shoot.
