A Special Package: Part II

So, remember me telling you about my sweet friend, Nicole and her son, Haden sending Chad a care package while he is in Afghanistan? Well, Chad was so thrilled to get that package from him that he sent him a special package of his own.

Chad flew an American flag on one of his missions and sent it to Haden as a special thank you for thinking of him while he is overseas. Chad took pictures of him opening Haden's package and made him a special certificate to go with his flag. He also sent him a photo of he and his fellow soldiers holding up the flag after they had flown in on their mission. He wrote Haden a note telling him what a wonderful thing he did by sending him a box full of goodies.

I got a message from Nicole telling me that she was so thrilled that Chad did that for Haden. He was so surprised. And as Nicole's mom told me, toys may come, and toys may go, but I think this is something that will stay with Haden for a very long time.

My husband is constantly making me proud of him and I love to brag about him to anyone that will listen. So this is just to add to the list of the many sweet, unselfish and considerate things that he does for others. I love you SO MUCH!!!
