Old Friends, New Memories

This past weekend was filled with good friends and lots of laughs! Melinda, my friend I visited in Altanta, came down to have a 'girls weekend' with all of our old college buddies. We used to have an amazing time in college together and this weekend proved we haven't lost our touch.

Friday night, we went to Meredith's house and then to Hurricane's for some good food and cold beers.

Then Saturday night, Meredith, Evie, me and Melinda all got a hotel room at Hotel Duval in downtown Tallahassee and tied one on for the evening. We laughed from the minute I got to the hotel until I left the next morning. It was so much fun and there were a few times during the evening I thought I was reliving my college days. Then I remembered that I am no longer a fan of waiting 30 minutes to get a beer ordered at the bar and I was sober enough to realize that the lead singer of the band did not know half the words to Bon Jovi's "Living on a Prayer"or Def Leppard's "Pour Some Sugar on Me". However, we managed to scream every word without missing a beat and we had a blast doing it. I was reminded that Melinda always cries when she laughs, Meredith loves the front row view of any stage and Evie is hilarious when she is inches away from falling asleep. We ended the evening with some late night laughs over 2:00 am pizza and it could not have been more perfect!

I cherish my friendship with these girls tremedously. Not only are they gorgeous on the outside, they are equally as beautiful on the inside. We have had so many good times together and I am so glad we added a few more to our jar of memories!
