Boo! It's Halloween!!

I love Halloween. I love all of the striped socked witches, the cute pumpkins with their wide smiles and the adorable bug-eyed ghosts. As you can tell, I don't do the blood and fangs sort of Halloween. I do the cute and cuddly!

In keeping with an old tradition, my brother David and friend Danielle got together the other night to carve pumpkins. We used to do this when Danielle and I lived together and David would come over. We would have a few pumpkin brew beers and start carving away. I realize this does not sound the least bit safe but I assure you, we have had consecutive years without any harm done to anyone. Except the pumpkins. So it was nice to get together again and have a carving fest one more time.

My brother always looks so ecstatic in pictures. I swear he is a happy person.

Super Danielle and her beautiful creation

Our respective pumpkins all lit up and happy:

I am so excited about this Halloween for obvious reasons. Gavin brings a whole new excitement to this holiday for me. He is already getting into the spirit of things by wearing cute Halloween shirts and playing with the pumpkin he picked out at the Pumpkin Fest last weekend. I can't wait for everyone to see him in his costume. No, I am not telling you what he is going to be!!!

I am a huge fan of pictures of Gavin when he is acting silly. They just freeze his personality.
