A sign I made that is full of Gavin's favorite things |
Since Chad has finally joined us back in the United States, we decided to celebrate Gavin's birthday early. We wanted to have a good time with all of our friends and family in Florida before we made our way back to Oklahoma. And OH BOY! What a good time it was! I went completely overboard with Mickey decorations but I loved doing all of it and nothing is too much when it comes to Gavin.

I spent all of this time and effort in decorating and planning this entire thing for Gavin and about an hour into the party, he was ready to take a nap! Seriously, I laid him down and he slept through the entire thing. He woke up three hours later. Which really, was quite nice because it gave me time to visit and Chad time to catch up with everyone. Especially with his parents who came down from Tennessee to celebrate with Gavin. All the kids had a blast running around my parent's yard and taking rides on the golf cart with my brother. The weather was perfect and we had SO many people come out to the party.

A few of my beautiful friends that came to the party |
Once Gavin decided to wake up from his birthday nap, there were a few people still celebrating with us so we decided to let Gavin open up a few of his presents. He got SO MUCH stuff!!! I was overwhelmed by the generosity of everyone who came. Gavin certainly is very loved if the size of his gift stash is any indication. His best friend Tucker was at his side showing him the proper way to rip open presents.

I had a "photo booth"set up for everyone to get their pictures taken with props that I made. |

We were so thrilled that Chad's parents came down for the party. As you can see, Gavin was too! |

Even Maverick, my brother's dog got festive with ears. |
So, yes, we were up to our ears in Mickey but it was so much fun. Thank you to my parents, my Grammie, my brother, Chad and Danielle for helping set everything up. Thank you to Mischa who helped me put some of the decorations together. And a huge thank you to everyone who came to make the day so special. I love all of you!!! Obviously it was beyond special because Chad was there. We left the next day to take Gavin to Walt Disney World but that is a whole blog post on its own!
