Happy Easter!

We started this Easter day off at about 3:00 a.m. this morning. Gavin woke up for his usual feeding and it was actually RAINING outside! The good Lord sent us some much needed rain. It was thundering and lightening and I just didn't know what to do with myself. Living in El Paso where it never rains and then moving here where they are having the biggest drought in years meant the last time I saw it rain was some time last year in Florida. So even though it meant some ruined Easter egg hunts, it was much welcomed rain.

We actually made it to church on time to celebrate this wonderful Easter holiday. However, Gavin made it all the way up until communion and then he was tired of waiting to be fed. And his very new and inexperienced parents were not prepared for this so we ended up having to come back home. We were proud of him though. He did really well for his first church service. And I know the Lord was happy we at least made an attempt.
