I Am Thankful for...

...Saturday afternoons. Chad doesn't have to work and we get to share the entire day with him. Nothing compares to it! Gavin is growing up so fast and he is becoming so alert to his surroundings. So this makes play time with Mommy and Daddy so fun!

...This smile! I still can't believe we created this beautiful, perfect being. We are so indescribably proud of him.

My taste in shoes. I mean, seriously, how cute are those kicks on him?? And look at that sweet face. It makes anything look good.

...The car seat. We put Gavin in this and he immediately goes to sleep. It is magic. This particular time we were at a crawfish boil and it was so incredibly hot and humid outside. It felt like Florida weather. So Gavin was extremely ready to get in his car seat and kick back in the AC.

...My boys. When I was pregnant with Gavin I was so convinced he was a girl. I had visions of what I wanted the nursery to look like and we even had our girl name picked out. So when we found out we were having a boy, I was shocked. Not at the fact that we were having a boy but at how excited I was. I couldn't imagine anything but having my precious baby boy. And of course my wonderful husband. My happiness is all due to him. My heart is full.
