Shout it to the World!

We had Gavin's birth announcements made!! They turned out so good. Of course anything with his picture on it looks just beautiful. I am sure he is proudly displayed on numerous refrigerators ;) It seems like it was just yesterday that we brought him home. He already looks so different from the picture on his announcement. Time flies by so fast!

A little back story on the photo in the announcement: Gavin is actually laying on his Boppy pillow in my mom's lap. She is holding up his swaddle blanket so I could get a solid background. If you look really close you can see part of her black and white shirt through the blanket. We took about 30 photos until we got this one. I really wanted him to be facing the camera but you have to take what you can get when it comes to infants. They are in total control of everything!! All in all, I think it turned out pretty well. We were certainly excited to share our wonderful news with everyone. All seven pounds and fourteen ounces of it!!
