I have been fighting having to go get Gavin's hair cut. I am not ready for him to get to that point in life. I am not ready for him to look like a little boy just yet. I want him to keep his blond curls which I know will remain on the floor as soon as we cut them off. But watching him keep sweeping his hair out of his eyes and hearing one too many times about how cute "she is", I decided it was finally time. So I took him to my mother's hair dresser and good friend, Miss Amy to do the honors. And she even met me half way in only cutting his bangs and a little over his ears. So I got to keep the curls a bit longer!!
However, Gavin was not as excited about the whole process. As a matter of fact, I think Miss Amy probably would have liked to cut more but he was not having anymore of it. He let her cut as much as he was going to allow and nothing more.
Oh well, at least he doesn't have his bangs in his eyes and I have yet to have someone mistake him for a girl!
