Rich in Friends

Chad got another wonderful, thoughtful gift from another friend of ours. This is Isabella, her friends and her little brother, Brody.

She is the daughter of Chris and Kelly Coyne who are very good friends of Chad and mine. Kelly called me and wanted to take the opportunity of having Isabella's first sleep over to teach the girls about sharing and doing a good deed for someone that needed it. They decided to bake cookies and make cards to send to Chad while he is away from his family.

 

 

Although this deployment has been tough and we have a ways to go before it is over, Chad and I try to find the good in any corner we can find it. The outpouring of friendship has definitely been a highlight for us. I am so comforted by how many people take the time out to give me a phone call, send Chad packages or do whatever they can to help us get through this. We are truly blessed by our many friends and their continual kindness.
