Happy New Year! 2013!

We are very much looking forward to what 2013 will be bringing for our family. Obviously, we can't wait for Chad to get home in March. Then we will be looking for a new home once we get back to Oklahoma. I can finally put all of my Pinteresting to good use!!! Chad and I will be leaving in September for our Europe trip. And well, we just get to be a whole family again! Very exciting times are ahead!

To bring in this much anticipated new year, I decided to see what Gavin's reaction would be to the staple of New Year's celebration: sparklers! Honestly, I did not think it was going to go so well. But he completely surprised me by absolutely loving them!! I sat him up in a chair and stuck some into the ground and we all lit them. He loved it! He kept saying "Lights! Lights!" It was adorable.

It looks like he is sitting in the middle of a brush fire- maybe 2013 will bring me a new lens???

We went over to Danielle's house to watch football and drink a little bubbly. Well, I went over there to do that. Gavin watched Baby Einstein and drank milk. But it was a fun little sleep over.

Cheers to 2013!

Although you should never wish time away, I am glad that 2012 has come to an end. It was a great year. I got to spend some priceless quality time with my friends and family. I have been completely blessed by being able to be in Florida while Chad is deployed. But I am beyond ready for my husband to come home. I am ready for him to see Gavin right when he wakes up in the morning, with his wild and crazy hair and that big grin. I am ready for him to actually be able to give Gavin a high five instead of pretending to do it on Skype. I am just ready for him to be home. A big cheers to 2013 and what it will bring you!
