I love Halloween. I adore all of my cute decorations I get to put out all over the house and make it festive. I have always enjoyed seeing all of the little kiddos coming for their candy, all dressed up like their favorite character. It is all just so much fun for me. But this year, of course, was extremely special. Gavin got to experience Halloween for the very first time and I do have to tell you, he had a blast! He was without a doubt THE cutest little chicken on the block. No, scratch that, in ALL of Oklahoma! And I am sure there are plenty of them here. The neighborhood kids were absolutely adorable. We saw everything from the entire cast of Star Wars, to ladybugs and dragons. But alas, as the night drew to a close, no other was cuter than my very own little chickadee. I am sure he will kill me in his later years for putting this costume on him. And I can hear my brother right now letting out an enormous grunt of disapproval because I put tights on Gavin. But it is all worth it because I have the biggest grin on my face when I see these photos. He is absolutely ADORABLE! I am going to be hard pressed to top this costume for next year. I am thinking maybe something with a tail???
